Upcoming Litters

At Rainyday we generally breed 2-3 litters in a calendar year. All dogs used in our breeding program are
OFA'd, have their eyes cleared yearly
by qualified ophthalmologists (usually Dr. Munger of Dallas) and are of sound mind and body. We breed primarily for
ourselves, and reservations are highly
suggested for each litter. We are very careful about our puppy placements.
Please feel free to contact us to discuss a potential puppy, and to learn how
our puppies are raised.
Please remember: Rainyday puppies are
available to approved homes only. Do not be offended if we ask a
great number of questions about your home and lifestyle; we are simply
trying to ascertain whether or not a Rainyday puppy will be a good match
for you. All puppies are sold with a complete contract and are
guaranteed against hereditary defects. Pet and most performance puppies are sold on
limited registration and must be spayed/neutered at sexual maturity.
We're very excited to announce that our special girl
Poppy (AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's Awesome
Blossom DNA-CP) will be bred to Baker
(AKC/ASCA CH Rainyday's Desperado DNA-VP) during the summer of 2010. Both Poppy and Baker are OFA Good
and eye cleared yearly. They both have full dent/scissors bites and are MDR1
N/N. Baker is HCT cataract tested clear and Poppy is cataract test clear by
parentage. Baker and Poppy are both champion producers. In addition, both have
multiple puppies excelling in obedience, rally and agility. Poppy's son Trace
also shows natural ability and aptitude in herding and in tracking. This cross can produce all four colors. Preference will be given to
competitive obedience/performance homes. Reservations are limited and have already begun.
Looking ahead... AKC/ASCA CH
Rainyday's Eleanor Rigby will be bred in the fall of 2010 for her
first litter. Eleanor is OFA Good, eyes cleared yearly, with full dentition and
a scissors bite. Eleanor is MDR1 N/N and cataract test clear by parentage. Check
back soon to see who the stud dog will be.
